No matter what your political affiliation, you’re a man or woman, black, white, Latino, Asian, it is imperative that you get out and vote today (if you’re in one of the primary states) and in November.
As a black man, I must remember that many, many people marched and died to give me the right to vote. For a long time, I was against voting, b/c I didn’t think my one vote could make a difference. So I didn’t vote in 2000, the Gore v. Bush debacle. But then I couldn’t really complain about the direction our country was going because I didn’t let my voice be heard.
I voted in 2004, and you know how that turned out. So this makes this time around so much more important. A change must be made.
If you’re in one of the Super Tuesday states, take some time out and vote today. Let your voice be heard.
