This looks wayyyyy better than the first one and has my boy Ed Norton in it. June 13, 2008.
Don’t forget Ironman in theaters this weekend too, minus the Ghostface scene in Dubai. There also is a rumor that Sam Jack’s part as Nick Fury has been cut as well, but we’ll see this weekend.
The Lakers and KB24 made easy work of the Nuggets last night, but the real story of the night was the Atlanta Hawks tying their series 2-2 with the seemingly unbeatable Boston Celtics behind 35 points (20 in the 4th) and 6 dimes from “Not Your Average Joe” Johnson. Check out the vid of his work below.
Ooh, Leon Powe caught a bad one. Let’s just show that cross right now.
Also, a cool trick for watching youtube videos that I learned from Nation over at WMDeez (good to see you posting again my dude): to view all youtube videos in HD, simply add “&fmt=18″ to the end of the link and voila- HD viewing on your computer!
Alas, I’d be remiss if I didn’t show love to the Lake show for being the only team to sweep their first round series. My dude MVP24, I mean KB24, scored 14 points in the final 5 1/2 minutes of the game to end AI and Melo’s season, setting up an eventual meeting with the Utah Jazz.
If you don’t like the NBA, you’re a hater, simple and plain.
Love it when these come around. Print em out and spend this week’s paycheck. What are you going to get? I’m thinking Kobes and maybe the JKidds that I passed on last time.
What I like about this site is that it customizes it’s hats and only releases limited #s (usually 35 or so like the Ironman fitted shown above). And they update with new selections almost weekly. Lotta hard to find color matches on the site, usually to some of the recent retro Jordans that have dropped. Def worth a look if you got money to blow on a few fitteds. (I copped 3…acting like I don’t have student loans to pay!)
If you don’t know about this “beef”, I’m not going to rehash it for you now. But here’s the latest:
“…in the wee hours of Friday night at Love, the Northeast club which hosted Gilbert Arenas‘ million-dollar 25th birthday party last year, the deejay played a new cut by Jay-Z. The hip-hop icon actually cut it Friday and had it downloaded for a party hosted by LeBron James at the club that night. Stevenson was told that the lyrics just eviscerated him — in his own town.
Then teammate Damon Jones, who last did something to collect an NBA paycheck two years ago, took the microphone and talked junk about Stevenson.
Caron Butler, the only Wizard present, left because “he felt I was being disrespected,” Stevenson said.”
So what happened today in Game 4? Lebron had 34 points, 12 boards, and 7 assists, with the set-up for the game-winning shot from Delonte West. There also was a nasty flagrant foul on Lebron by Deshawn.
And the Wiz lost 100-97, also falling behind 3-1 in a series heading back to Cleveland for game 5.
So once again I ask: first round knockout? I guess we’ll know soon enough.
“I have sworn that we’re taking out the bowling alley in the White House and we’re putting in a basketball court,” he said, according to a pool press report of his visit this afternoon to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle, Ind., today.
I’ve played with Bill Clinton and Al Gore on NBA Jam back in the day, but to play with the real President AT the White House would be sickness. And it’s a good idea to get rid of the bowling alley after that putrid score he put up while campaigning in Pennsylvania.
Everyone knows that Brett Favre is John Madden’s favorite player in the world. So why put him on the cover of the 2009 edition of Madden unless he has some inside information on the subject? Check out his comments on the David Letterman show the other night:
“Now they got me out here Brett Farvin- tryin to see if I still got it…”- Andre 3000, Art of Storytelling 4
After his performance last yr, I think I would like to see the ol boy come back for one more season with those players with an extra year of experience. Come back Brett. Have you seen my baseball?
