Mixtape of the Week: What the F*ck is a Jay Electronica?

I have been hearing about this cat forever but never heard any material from him. Then I read many negative reviews about his show and how he was another victim of Erykah Badu’s magic p*ssy (that sh*t be having dudes TWEAKIN- Andre 3000, Common, even the DOC). All I’ve been waiting for is a mixtape to highlight his skills.

This is that mixtape. Dude is ill and reminds me of Killah Priest. But from New Orleans. He must have moved when all that P and Cash Money shit was poppin. He’ll never sell, but it’s good music and at age 28, that’s all I’m looking for nowadays.  If you don’t believe me, please…just listen to “Eternal Sunshine.”  WOW.  Rob, you listening to this?
