First off, let me say that I have not seen the new Batman movie because a certain young lady that I am quite fond of has not seen it yet and wants to see it with me. Therefore, I am not one of the millions that contributed to The Dark Knight becoming the king of the box office, grossing $155.3 million to dethrone Spiderman 3’s $151.1 million.
The numbers are spectacular. $18.5 million for the midnight showings. $66.4 million in one day (Friday). Sadly, the homie Heath Ledger, who I heard gave an Oscar-worthy performance, won’t be able to enjoy the fanfare. RIP my dude.

I don’t know nothing about what other dude is talking about, but this is the best movie in 2008. Easily the best superhero movie EVER.

kudos to the makers of Dark Knight for their record breaking opening weekend… it’s no wonder there’s talk of another one coming out ASAP
